This is a lesser known (?) UK Crossover band from the 80s, led by Gizz Butt of English Dogs, The Prodigy and The Destructors fame. UK82 punk with heavy metal solos and extreme speed, like GBH, Motorhead and Iron Maiden had a bastard child. This is what Desecrators sound like. And I really like the cover artwork.

Argy Bargy - Hopes, Dreams, Lies & Schemes (2012)

New album by these Oi Punk heroes from Watford, England. Argy Bargy is making furious comeback since their last album "The Likes of Us" from 2009. With the cover artwork that looks like it was made by Banksy, this album doesn't lack actual social commentary as well as classic Oi themes such as localpatriotism or some personal themes. Tracks number 14 and 17 deliver music that's a little bit different than the rest of the album, first being pub rock anthem featuring Frankie Flame (at least I think so) and second being their excursion into Dub waters. A release worth downloading (and buying also).

Their second album and even better one. All the kickassing elements of Oi! are here stretched to the maximum. Tracks like Never Return, Always Left Behind and Never Returned are eruptions of working class resentment packed in aggressive yet melodic Punk Rock with frequent uplifting singalongs and simple guitar solos. Common Oi! themes as taking pride in yourself, hard working class life, drinking booze and hating poseurs are accompinied by the critique of online generation.
